February 7th: DDF Dance - MPR
February 14th: Valentine Carnations
February 21st: Asian Dinner and DDF Performance (MPR)
February 25th: Leave for State
February 26th, 27th, 28th: State@Sitka

March 7th: Open - possible Showcase at Eagles?
March 13th: Leave for the Marshall Islands
March 29th: Return from the Marshall Islands
March 30th - Season is over (unless someone qualifies for Nationals)!

Results From Haines

Skagway took five students to Haines over the weekend of November 21st and 22nd. Our team performed well and humbly won two events. Results are as followed:

Oration: 1st Shelby Surdyk, 3rd Jayce Ellis, 5th Alini Jashiki
Extemp Comm: 1st Shelby Surdyk, 2nd Brandy Mayo
Expository Speaking: 2nd Shelby Surdyk, 5th Jayce Ellis
Duo Interpretation of Literature: 2nd Shelby Surdyk and Brandy Mayo
Dramatic Interpretation of Literature: 4th Brandy Mayo
